Great experience I loved the experience with Jané and her team, it is so wonderful to be able to support a female owned and operated business. The instructors are very supportive and teach you from the very basics so that you have a good foundation. Be warned that none of the instructors are particularly fluent in English but they get their point across. Watching the videos after class is a great way to see how you can improve. I wish I could have stayed longer to take more classes!

One of the best expirience i ever made A really good surfscool with friendly and competent surfteachers. I did surfing about 8 years ago in Uruguay but this wasn't that much fun so i never tried again until i was in Itacare. We made really perfect expiriences with everything and everywhere in this surfscool. Good teaching, friendly treatment, good equipment. The teacher take care of everyone and have very good humanskills so they feel and see what the different clients need, to make the best possibel progress. This is a surfscool i can warmly recomend to everyone!

The best teachers!! I had tried surfing before with little success, so I had given up for a while. Someone encouraged me to try again with Jane and her team at Meninas do mar. It was amazing! I was getting up on my first day and quickly became a surf addict. She and Zuceto are really professional teachers. They make sure they take you to the right beach with good conditions and ensure that everyone feels comfortable. The video session that they provide after is really helpful to start to make improvements. She also provides you with a rash guard, so you don't need to bring your own. I thought I was going to do the 3 day package and now I am on day 10!!! It's a great way to meet other people in town. She even made a big group dinner for us one night. Thank you Meninas do mar!! I will be back.

Best surf school in Itacaré! Can't recommended this surf school enough! The instructors are fantastic and genuinely invested in the success of each student. They keep the size of the classes small (one instructor to every 2/3 students) so they can cater well to different levels of skill. I had never surfed before and the three day course was the perfect intro. I ended up extending my stay in Itacaré to spend a week surfing with Meninas do Mar because I was making so much progress and having such a good time. Thank you Jane, Zuqueto, James, Rosie and Marcel!
