Welcome to Meninas do mar Surf School

The school was founded in 2012, following the dream of Jane Morais, a former competitor with 12 years of experience, who absorbed this lifestyle, left her busy life in São Paulo to dedicate herself exclusively to this modality.
The school is located in the city of Itacaré in Bahia, Brazil and is one of the most constant wave location in the state. A city surrounded by the Atlantic Forest and tropical weather, with a great variety of waves and sand bottom beaches.

Safty first

Our instructors are qualified by the international surfing association and Brazilian Surfing Institute - ISA and IBRASURF , including rescue and first aid certification given by the fire brigade.

Quality of our service

The use of the right equipment and the commitment that so well characterize our team, that is to teach the whole process to learn to surf safely, fun, with autonomy and constant evolution.

Surf for everybody

We emphasize that school does not serve only girls, on the contrary, we teach all people who are physically fit, independent of sex. Our surf lessons programs geared towards all ages and levels, from beginner to advanced surfers.

Carlos Zuqueto

Co-founder, Instructor & maximum safety at sea

Carlos Zuqueto, better known by Zuqueto is the school's technical instructor and maximum safety at sea. He has been working with surf classes for more than 15 years, always developing the technical part so that students gain more autonomy and confidence in surfing. With extensive experience in surfing lessons, he is a true Aqua Men. His entire life is dedicated to water sports, for many years he has participated in many amateur and professional surfing competitions.
